Privacy
Mini World is made for children. This page says, in plain words, what the site keeps and why.
01No ads, no accounts
There are no ads here, no accounts and nothing to sign up for. The site never asks for a name, an email address or anything else about you or your child. Cloudflare hosts it and handles each request, which includes the IP address, the browser and the page asked for: see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
02A count without cookies
Cloudflare, which hosts the site, also counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, in every region, Europe included. It uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It sees the page, the site that sent you, the country, the kind of browser and device, and how long the page took to load. It never knows who you or your child are. It is separate from Google Analytics: the switch below doesn’t stop it.
03What Google Analytics counts
Where it is on, Google Analytics counts visits, so that we can see which plates are used and make them better. It counts the pages opened, the site that sent you, the country or region and the kind of device. That is all: it records no names, shows no ads and builds no profiles, and Google signals and ad personalisation are off.
04Cookies
To tell a new visit from a return visit, Google Analytics keeps a random number in two cookies, named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code. They are kept for 180 days after the last visit. Google LLC, in the United States, processes the counts for us on its servers: see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
05No Google Analytics in Europe
In Europe, and wherever we can’t tell where a visitor is, Google Analytics never loads and sets no cookies; only Cloudflare’s cookieless count runs. We tell where you are from the country Cloudflare reports for the connection, which this tab keeps until it is closed.
06Turning it off
Everywhere else, Google Analytics is on unless you turn it off here. Turning it off deletes its cookies, and this browser remembers the choice for 180 days.
07Everything else
The browser remembers whether you like the plates as a grid or a list. The sound plate uses the microphone only if you allow it, and the sound never leaves your device. Videos from YouTube, Bilibili or Douyin load only when you press play; from then on, that site’s own rules apply. A few plates read live data, such as where the space station is, straight from public science services.
